Design & Make Ambassador Program
Context
The Autodesk Design & Make Ambassador Program empowers students to connect their communities with Autodesk softwares and the Design & Make industries, such as architecture, construction, engineering, animation, and more.
Ambassadors engage in activities like hosting workshops, mentoring peers, promoting events, and supporting national campaigns, all while developing leadership skills, professional experience, and meaningful community impact.
A “Campus Leader” is an Autodesk Design & Make Ambassador who act as leaders and liaisons between Autodesk and the Ambassadors on their campus.
Actions
I scaled the “Campus Leader” program from an early-stage concept into a fully operational initiative by building structured, end-to-end processes for application, selection, and onboarding. I formalized job descriptions and role responsibilities, designed a comprehensive onboarding workflow, and implemented recurring engagement touchpoints, including communications templates, monthly newsletters, group meeting slide decks, and one-on-one check-ins.
I managed a team of 30 Campus Leaders across 28 campuses and supported them in executing 60+ Autodesk campus events and meetings to drive product trial and brand awareness. I coordinated data and communications for 1,250+ U.S. college student ambassadors via Airtable and SocialLadder.
Using engagement data and student feedback, I helped refine student outreach tactics to further scale the program across 152 college campuses in the US. I also conducted on-site market visits to understand local campus culture and identify territory-specific growth opportunities.
Impact
Of 152 schools, the campuses I managed generated over 50% of total student engagement, demonstrating the impact that the Campus Leader program at scale can have on program engagement. My efforts ultimately drove a 6x increase in total student engagement.
