“MBA Early Admission for Undergrads” Rebrand
Context
The MBA Early Admission for Undergrads program allows undergraduates from institutions nationwide to secure deferred, early decision to the Georgia Tech Scheller MBA program. As application rates declined, it became clear that the program needed a brand refresh.
Actions
In 2021, after one of the biggest global pandemics, I led a year-long marketing rebrand across print, digital, email, social, and OOH marketing — all within a $15,000 budget.
A survey I conducted revealed the biggest challenge: undergrads had little to no awareness of the program. To change that, I created a refreshed, modern, and distinct brand identity using student imagery and a warm, approachable color palette. I developed the tagline “Get accepted now, start your MBA later,” which is still in use today.
To boost visibility, I placed digital plasma ads in high-traffic student areas like dining halls, libraries, and academic buildings. I introduced yard signs — a first for the business school — after noticing how effective they were for student organizations. I designed four versions, managed purchasing, secured approvals, and personally installed 40 signs in key campus locations.
I worked with an external videography team to produce a student testimonial commercial, handling the end-to-end creative process, including casting, scheduling, scriptwriting, location scouting, and final edits.
Beyond these efforts, I launched an email awareness campaign, deployed LinkedIn messaging ads, updated website copy, and refreshed the informational brochure to maximize outreach.
Impact
Program applications increased two-fold by 260% compared to the previous year. Today, the program has expanded from accepting applicants from a few select institutions to welcoming students worldwide to apply.
